AMERICANS & THE HOLOCAUST TRAVELING EXHIBITION @ MSU

Visit the Americans and the Holocaust traveling exhibit at the MSU-Mankato Memorial Library.
This thought-provoking exhibit examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans’ responses to Nazism, war and genocide in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s. It also explores the roles of the U.S. government, news media and individuals in responding to these historic events. This powerful exhibition has traveled to 50 libraries across the country and is now in Mankato. Library Services will lead the group and answer questions.

Join Michael as he shares his work exploring the AIDS Crisis through the lens of the Covid pandemic. Michael has been gathering stories for his manuscript Not My First Pandemic, reflecting on the personal and collective impact of these two health crises. He will read from his poetry collections and discuss his journey as a writer and advocate. He will also give details on his upcoming writing workshop focused on personal reflections from the AIDS years and Covid pandemic.

Our full-service fitness center is non-intimidating and features state-of-the-art strength training equipment. Our exercise equipment is easy to use and reduces stress on your joints. The smart-card technology personalizes your training, while keeping track of your progress. Professional staff and trained volunteers are always available to help.

No matter the weather outside, our cushioned walking track is always the perfect 70 degrees inside, with 360-degree views of the Minnesota River Valley. Research shows that a flat, firm, but not too hard surface is the best for older knees and joints.
